Rebecca Morgan now lives in  Sycamore, Illinois with her second husband.  Pearl Keen, her first husband of Dryhill, died many years ago.  Rebecca has four children, three still living.  She grew up on Briar Fork.  Rebecca's oldest brother, bought the bathing suit she wore in the contest and drove her to all the Coal Carnival events in Hazard in his truck.  

Madeleine Grigsby was the daughter of Luke Grigsby & Eliza Combs Grigsby & grew up on High Street in Hazard.  She wore long pants in the competition instead of a bathing suit to hide scars she received on her legs from being burned as a child.  Her family moved to Lotts Creek after she was grown.  She died many years ago.

Emma Hall of Viper married Britt Brashear and had one son.  She was a school teacher at Viper for many years.  Emma died in the fall of 2000.
